Wearing it with Pride
Last spring the university launched the LAU Memorabilia Gallery on the ground floor of Orme-Gray Hall on the Beirut campus. In development for several years, the gallery sells affinity items to students, alumni, faculty, staff and others, and gives them all the opportunity to show off their LAU pride through a wide variety of souvenirs and gifts including t-shirts, umbrellas, pens, mugs, mouse pads, hats picture frames, and other university-branded items.
The ability to create and distribute affinity items was actually built into the previous university strategic plan which just recently concluded. And it was completed through the successful collaboration of several of LAU’s divisions, including Human Resources and University Services, Student Development and Enrollment Management, as well as the Advancement division.
With the launching of the gallery and its growth and development, nurtured by so many people from every corner of the university community, LAU’s brand will continue to grow and proliferate around the globe.
